I purchased my new laptop last week. The wifi is continually dropping out (we have several other devices at home and we have had no issues with the wifi for any of them). I have tried to follw the HP support notes and attempted to download the drivers from the HP website, however
I get this message:
"HP encountered an error while trying to scan your product. Please verify your product is powered on and connected, then try again in a few minutes. Or, view all available drivers for your product below.
Retry"
There is no list of drivers displayed for me to choose from.
I am very disappointed that I was not made aware of this issue when I purchased the laptop. I will be taking it back tomorrow and asking for a refund. I have tried various suggestions from support pages but feel that it is useless wasting anymore time.
Other than this wifi issue I love the laptop but can't afford to waste any more time persisting and I'm not prepared to pay someone to fix my brand new laptop.
It's a wonder I've stay connected long enough to type this!
