Wifi not working
It says my notebook is a DESKTOP-HU21TVR. My wifi keeps stopping or becomes limited and just does not work. It has done so since I purchased it brand new last week. I am pretty annoyed about it. Please help me resolve this issue.

Pavilion X360 11.6"
This isn't so much a question as information for people having the same problem with their HP Pavilion X360. The Realtek RTL8723BE "combo" Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter on my 11.6" X360 (fitted with an Intel Core M CPU) will not handle both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time - it's one or the other.
HP have agreed there are issues with this adapter that these just might be fixed in the future with a new driver, but agreed it wasn’t an acceptable situation and offered me a full refund, which I have accepted but unhappily so as it is, in every other way, such a truly wonderful laptop. The option of using a separate plug-in Bluetooth USB adapter crossed my mind but, no - a modern 2016 laptop should not have this fault.
The HP technician actually told me not to use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time. As if!

Can't find wifi networks
Good evening,
I own a Compa Presaio CQ57 and now my on board wifi can not dettect the wireless networks available. When I connect usb adapter the wifi works perfectly but the onboard adapter does not. On the device manager ecerything is ok. The icon apears on the bar task with a cross on it as if it was turned off.
Can you help me ?

My HP pavilion with Windows /Vista is not connecting to my network. It was fine yesterday. The wireless indicator is red and touching it or pushing it does nothing. What key or stroke can I use to make it work? F10 does nothing. I have a laptop not a notebook.

HP 630 - Upgrade to Windows 10 - Wifi problem
Hi All,
completed free upgrade from WIndows 7 Home to Windows 10. Did it via Ethernet NIC - all completed successfully - licence activated. After that I did clean install and again all seems to be fine - except when I tried to use WiFi. There is a red cross on it and it cant detect any networks. Can't be turned on - doesnt react. Only thing it does is switching Airplane mode on or off by pressing hardware or software button.
Obviously driver problem. In device manager WiFi shows as Aetheros AR9285 and there is no warning - functioning normaly. I tried to check no HP site for the product but indeed there is just Windows 7 driver which cant be installed as Windows 10 says its not for this version of OS.
So I tried to download the one from Aetheros directly https://www.atheros-drivers.com/atheros-wireless-drivers.html. Downloaded AR9285 for Windows 10 (no exe just inf files etc..) and installed it via "update driver". Completed successfully, reboot done but still the same - no WiFi - unable to turn it on in Windows.
Anyone have this notebook and know which driver to use?

Upgrade WLAN adapter possible?
Hi,
My Probook 450 has a slow transferspeed of through Wifi connection. I have the Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi (+ BT4.0 HMC Combo Adapter?)
but I am not sure I have the combinated bluetooth adapter. This because I only see 1 antenna cable.
Also the adapter only has one connection point (only Main). Does this mean there is no antenna for bluetooth? Or should I open the frame and search for it?
Can I upgrade the this adapter for extra speed to Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 BT 4.0 combo adapter?
Hope that someone can clearify this.

I have a HP Pavilion 15 - R014Tx. I have upgraded to Windows 10 64 bit! I have certain connectivity issues! Wifi networks connect rarely and cannot browser when I am connected! Limited connectivity and the connections become worse at times!

Wi-fi suddenly stops working and needs a restart
Hello.
I have this issue for a while now and it's making me furious. My internet is working normally for a while and then it suddenly becomes ultra slow, unable to connect to pages, pauses downloads, drops me out of online games and similar stuff. Restarting the laptop or just disconnecting and connecting again solves the problem like 90% of the time but it happens multiple times a day and it is real annoying.
So, any ideas what the issue is about? I think reinstalling the drivers could possibly do the trick(or just switching to Windows 8 because getting the device to work on Windows 7 was and still is a pain in the ass at times), but i wanted to ask just to be sure because i had positive expiriences posting on here before.

wifi adapter not working
Hello,
my laptop has been experiencing increasing problems of wifi connection recently and I'm now unable to connect to the internet. Troubleshooting attempts managed to get the wifi back for a few days but it seems to be now powerless as it says that the wifi adapter is experiencing driver or hardware problems. It worked again for a few hours today and I'm now back to no wifi despite troubleshootong and restarting the laptop. Would you have any clue of how I could sort this out?

wireless driver download, many choices, which is correct
I have the HP Probook 6560b. OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Using the HP support web site I attempted to download the driver for the wireless network adapter. The network driver section has 14 choices. I can eliminate wired and bluetooth. Of the rest, I tried to identify which choice would be correct for my 6560b wireless adapter. I narrowed it down to the possibilities:
* Ericsson Mobile Broadband Drivers
* Sierra Wireless Driver Package for HP un2430 Mobile Broadband Module
* Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver and Utility
* Qualcomm Atheros AR9000 Series Wireless LAN Driver for Microsoft Windows
* Intel Wireless Drivers for Microsoft Windows 7
Now, how am I supposed to know which one of these is for the wireless network adapter in my laptop? Nowhere can I find where it elaborates on how to tell which one is relevant to my laptop.
Please advise.
