Wifi gets disconnected after 10-15 min and then not even reconnect unless reboot on new HP 15-R203TX NOTEBOOK LAPTOP. I am using ubuntu 14.04 LTS. Please let me know the cause of this issue and the solution as well.Because it is really disturbing while working.
Help. I see on my HP 4650 screen: wireless strength, clicked on it, nothing happened.
On that same screen is: network name, MAC number and host name. Are any of those my hp network passwords?

i need the driver for my Integrated 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet LAN for my pavilion 15-n245ee notebook, after formating my operating system Win 7 64 bit, the ethernet port in not working, and its icon in the network and internet window, maybe after defining the lan port i can connect to the internet to finish the other needed drivers, and thans in advance.

My new elitebook won't work correctly with my blutooth headphones.
Bluetooth works (my mouse works flawlessly).
I've tried 3 different headhpones (some older, one brand new).
I've made sure that my drivers are completely upgraded.
Symptoms are:
* Pairing works fine.
* Connection is made (for about a second) before the status returns to "paired"
* I never see the device in the audio properties (since they won't stay connected).
I'd appreciate any help!

Issue:
WiFi conenction is dropped if I initiate skype call/video call, facebook call/video call etc.
I tried with a different usb WiFi adapter skype call/video call, facebook call/video call etc and there was no issue.
Please advise.

I accidentally clicked Yes when a bios update screen came out. The update was done and now my HP 14-AC145TU laptop WiFi is gone. Tried installing/updating in the Device Manager but it didn't help. Tried system restore too but didn't work.

I have recently bought the following laptop
Notebook Model: HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
Product Number: J2T42EA#AKS which I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 (x64) on.
As I didn't know which drivers exactly were for my model I downloaded all of them from here and started installing them one by one on freshly reinstalled OS in order to figure out which ones of them I actually need. After I tried all of them I got to the conclusion that a few of them only were for my system namely:
1/ Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
2/ Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver
3/ Intel USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver
4/ Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver
5/ Synaptics TouchPad Driver
6/ Broadcom Bluetooth Software
7/ Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver
8/ Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver
9/ Realtek Card Reader Driver and
10/ HP 3D DriveGuard Software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection). Then I decided to reinstall the OS again and install these 10 only which I need but unfortunately here came the problem. Before I reinstalled my OS for a second time I clearly remember that at first I didn't have bcm43142a0 as a device in my Device Manager. As a matter of fact while I was installing Intel USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver It showed me that the necessary drivers for all my USBs were installed but there wasn't a driver for bcm43142a0 and this caused bcm43142a0 to show up as a device which needs a driver in my Device Manager. Then I was able to install Broadcom Bluetooth Software driver and I had a working Bluetooth. Unfortunately when I reinstalled the OS for a second time things were different and Intel USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver didn't cause bcm43142a0 to show up as a device in Device Manager and when I tried to install Broadcom Bluetooth Software driver I got the following error:
No Bluetooth device was detected. Please make sure that your Bluetooth device is plugged in properly in order to continue installation and there was no way to install the driver.
I can't understand what am I doing wrong ? More important is why It showed up as a device in my Device Manager when I installed Intel USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver for a first time and on the second one It didn't ?!?!?!?

Hello, ı have this problem until ı have this laptop. My laptop is not connecting to any wifi, for example my modem is near my laptop. The laptop connects modem and after 15 minutes it was disconnecting. Sometimes it was looking connected in wifi but i can't connect in internet. I sent my laptop to technical service but they say me there is no problem in laptop. There must be a driver problem. I download all the drivers that ı have but again there is the problem. Im connecting with my phone usb internet share. Please help me!! :'(
I know this has been posted about before, but none of the answers seem to fix my problems and its getting very frustrating.
This is a brand new computer, that came installed with windows 10 (so I havent done the upgrade)
It will not stay connected to my wifi for longer than a few minutes. It then disconnects, and the wifi just disappears completely, all I can see if "airplace mode"
We have troubleshooted the problem (all that insists on telling me is that our ethernet cable is unplugged.....)
Sometimes it can take 3-4 restarts of the computer before the wifi is recognised again, but then only stays connected again for a few minutes before we go through the whole thing again.
If I had read the forums before buying the computer, no way would I have touched a HP, as this problem seems rife with HP laptops and the problem rarely seems to get fixed?????

I have had this laptop for 8 days and it randomly loses internet connection. I have checked the drivers are up to date and done the suggested adjustments in the network adaptor advacned settings. THis is a real issue because this is a work laptop and use a cloud database of client.s The only thing that fixes it is to turn it off and reboot.
I see this is commone on the forum and want to know when hp will address this issue. I am getting tired of losing work and this is truly unacceptable.

My laptop currently has a broadcom 802.11n wifi adapter and it definitely works badly.
Hence, I'm thinking to upgrade to a dual band one maybe with the ac standard as well.
Which card should I look for? I'm worried about the copatibility with my latpot as it is quite old now.
