Hi,
So about 1 month ago, my computer's wifi stopped working with Code 45. I haven't opened the inside of the computer, so I am stumped. I really don't want to send my computer back, so if there's a fix software wise, I'd appreciate it.

Hello
Here's a conundrum that my local IT company can't figure out.
My laptop, when connected to the wi-fi, creates a sort of internet blackhole. Whereby other devices that have been working just fine on the internet, when I connect my laptop to the same wi-fi network, they lose, including my laptop, all connectivity to the internet. So it sort of zaps the internet down to nil for everyone.
I can say that the internet and wi-fi connection was fine until I reset the laptop, now it does this.
I can connect to the internet through the same network through an ethernet cable, which is what I am using currently in order to write this, and other devices work perfectly fine through the wi-fi, so I quite sure that its nothing to do with the hub or internet provider.
I cannot register my printer to install software as my UK post code is being rejected. I've lived there for 2 years!!!
Hello, I've recently installe Xubuntu 14.04 aside windows 7.
There seems a problem with the wifi switch button. It keeps to be organe (off) and I cannot turn the wifi on.
Can somebody help me?
Thank you
I just purchased a new lap top trying to set up and Cortana asked me to connect to a network. I am trying to connect to my wi fi but when I select the button to connect nothing happens
I have tried repeatedly to update the drivers for this wireless network card for this laptop. However, nothing works. It connects for a second and kicks off.
I have the HP 17-p110nr - I have had issues with this laptop ever since I bought it for my wife .... slow, connections get kicked off ... NO support from your HP departments and then subsequently just blown off by HP because I bugged you too much ...
Having said that, I need to at least get this network card to work .... either I can simply replace it with something that DOES work, or I need to figure out WHAT driver WILL work.
Now, if you're feeling my frustration, good, as I've been completely and utterly frustrated with this laptop ....
1) How do I crack this thing open? It appears you guys have made it extremely difficult to get into the darn thing so I can replace the network card ...
2) I need to figure out what driver will actually work with your product and Win10 .

Hi - I just purchased this HP Notebook 15-bw000 laptop and realized I could not connect it to my 5G network. I found that I don't have the right wireless adapter installed. How can I upgrade to a dual band 2.4 GHz/5.0 GHz card?
Hello,
I am using the HP Pavilion 14-v062us Notebook Laptop, Product Number: G6S68UA, Windows 8.1 64-bit.
I have been having ongoing issues connecting to the WiFi. It's not the router, other devices connect just fine. Currently I am using an Ethernet Cable for my internet. I have uninstalled and reinstalled/updated the Wireless Network Driver. I have gone through the entire HP Troubleshooting minus restoring the BIOS to it's factory settings (I'm hesitant because I don't know what this does and I don't want to lose my files). I have gone through any HP detection/assistance and nothing has seemed to work. One of the errors when Troubleshooting via the Network Center said "Problem with wireless adapter or access point". This is the one error that I can't seem to shake. Sometimes if I unistall the network driver and restart my computer, I can use the WiFi for just a few minutes then it won't connect anymore and has a red "X" over the WiFi icon. Other times if I unplug the Ethernet cable the icon looks like the attached photo.
If anyone has any ideas I can try to restore my ability to connect to the WiFi, I would greatly appreciate it!
