I have received two solutions for my issue of trying to upgrade to 5GZH wifi.
One - I cannot because I have an AMD A8-7050 Radeon R5 processor with 2 cores
Second - I can, using an HP COMPAQ 670292-001 INTEL 6235 WIRELESS N + BLUETOOTH DUAL BAND MINI Pci-E CARD
The more I research, the more I am in doubt of the second option. Can anybody provide a definitive answer. Thanks
Until recently my laptop was working well with bluetooth. Suddenly it has gone. There is no button to turn bluetooth on and off any more. There used to be. And in Bluetooth settings I can only se the option of adding a new device, but it doesn't work and there is no button to turn bluetooth on an off either.
I am certain that I have the newest drivers installed, and I have tried all possible ways of trouble shooting.
I have been struggling to find a fix for my wi-fi ever since Windows Creator's Update came along. My wi-fi had been working without issue before the update. I was sent an updated driver package from Windows through Windows update (see above driver version in subject line). My ethernet works fine but my wi-fi will not stay connected. Just yesterday support assistant sent me urgent update notice of this same driver for wi-fi. I uninstalled old one and deleted it and took the driver from HP and restarted. The driver still doesn't function and under events I see: Device PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_B723&SUBSYS_2231103C&REV_00\4&b4793e4&0&0020 requires further installation. This is aggravating and I don't know what to do to fix the problem. I have tried the frequently suggested troubleshooter and NetSh Admin commands and the wi-fi connection won't hold. Please help!

I have a problem connectting to my wifi network.
I have a pavillon dv6 and each time i try to connect to my wireless network, i am asked for the security key then it fails. I thought it might be a windows problem but no since I upgraded to win10 but the problem still there. The drivers are well installed. Also, I tried to use another usb wifi but same problem occurs. I tried the usb wifi on another hp notebook and it works perfectly. Is there any thing I need to check? Thanks for the help...

I've noticed that when my Bluetooth is on wifi speed drops significantly.
I've tried different drivers for both BT and Wifi, but without improvement.
Any ideas how to fix this?

My notebook frequently loses wifi connectivity either suddenly unable to find any networks at all, or remaining connected to the home network but without internet connection (ie- still able to connect to network printer). Turning airplane mode on and off sometimes will restore connection, at least briefly. Sometimes it doesn't register that it has a wifi adapter (not listed in devices). Restart usually fixes the problem eventually, though sometimes requiring 5-20 consecutive reboots.
Was fine until a few weeks ago. No other devices on the network are having problems. Updated drivers, BIOS. Turned off any programs that might interfere (firewall, antivirus, bluetooth, etc). No effect. No new installed programs or updates.
Thoughts on what to try next?
Need the following drivers for my HP Laptop HP Notebook 15-AC098TU:
1. Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter
2. BCM43142A0
3. Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller

in my HP EliteBook 820 G1, Serial Number: CNU421DBVH, Product Number: D7V73AV, with windows 10 x64 Pro installed, it seems there is no Bluettoth possible connection. I have udated all drivers, updated BIOS too, I have enabled automatic start for Bluetooth Handsfree Service and Bluetooth Support Service, but no Bluetooth appears !!! In Device Manager does not appear any Bluetooth icon . HP Support Assistant software does not find any solution.
Please help me to solve this issue.

Added new Arris Telephony Gateway router.. Computer and ipads accepted password but when trying to connect to wireless on printer, says wrong password, but it is right.
My Bt Hub6 actually sends a signal at 30+mbps and my wife's lap top (on the same desk as my lapto) recieves at that speed.
Meanwhile, I am only receiving at approx. 6 mbps. I don't understand why. I've had the BT engineer to look at the problem. He can't come up with a solution other than to say that the fault lays with my laptop . Can anyone help, please.

I am looking for a replacement WiFi AC card for a notebook HP 15-AC190CA.
It came with Realtek card 2.4GHZ, without bluetooth. Another Broadcom card 2.4GHZ with bluetooth works OK also.
I bought 3 Intel cards dual band (2.4 and 5 GHZ - NGFF M.2): 3160 AC, 7260 AC and 7265 AC.
None of them is detected.
None of them shows up in Device Manager.
All 3 Intel cards work OK in different HP notebook AMD based, AF series.
Is there any way I can get the laptop to recognize and install a Intel dual band card?
