Hi, i bought i new laptop but i stumbled upon a problem immediatly when i installed my operating system, i found out i can't see any wi-fi network around me.

Troubleshooting said that i have a network adapter driver missing and after that some quick googling took me to a similar problem (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Wireless-Internet-Home-Networking/Missing-Network-Adapter-for-HP-Pavillion-laptop/td-p/2984705) where the solution said that i should post something like this:

I recently updated to Windows 10 with my laptop (came from Windows 8) and keep in mind, Windows 8 was working fine but now that I have updated to Windows 10, I can't connect to my home network.

When I turn on my laptop, it doesn't automatically connect to my network and when I do try to connect from network settings, I get an error "Cannot connect to this network" and I'd have to wait at least 30 minutes before it automatically connects. After waiting it works but my laptop goes to sleep or goes inactive for a while, it disconnects again and I'd have to wait

I have connected via hotspot and it worked fine but all my other HP laptops connects fine and they're Windows 10 as well. Only this laptop is acting up so I assume it's a problem with a new driver.

I have only1 printer but both usb and network is installed and usb is default and always go back to it.  How can delete the usb and only use network

hello, I just installed win7 on my laptop and I am now not able to get on the Internet via wifi or hard wired. 

 

When I click the trouble shoot button it reads that it doesn't detect a properly installed network adapter.

 

It then tells me I will need to reinstall my driver but I am unsure how to do this without Internet connection.

I have updated to Windows 10.  After this my hotspot is not working. After trying " netsh wlan show drivers  "  surprisingly  my Hostednetwork suport changed to "NO". I checked for microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter driver. It is also not present in device manager. Also not available on website drivers. What to do now?

I've updated my printer driver using HP support after installing Windows 10. After much coaxing I can now print, but my laptop "does not recognise printer" if I try to scan a document. HP support confirms printer is my default functions are normal!

I just purchased this laptop HP x360, Window 10 operating system. However, this computer froze when trying to open the wireless network. The mouse pad froze. I restarted and now it works. Anoter issue is I cannot connect into the network. Can you please tell me how I can do this? Also, I purchased a Microsoft Office personal package online; will this computer hold this entire software?

Please help this conputer suppose to help me with my new business.

I had issues with my wireless feature on my laptop disappearing.  To try and resolve this issue I reset the laptop to its factory settings.  When I did this the wireless card / feature does not work; however the bluetooth feature does.  The laptop will connect to the interenet when wired but need it to be wireless for a host of reasons.

 

The Product ID is A6Z74UA#ABA

 

Windows 7

 

Any help would be appreciated.  I have tried downloading a new driver but the factory reset should have resolved this.

no authentication at all only redirect to my company home page ..

Hi,

 

while i amtrying to connect the Wi-Fi, it get connected  but after 3/4 mins showing Limited access, and on wifi icon yellow triangle is showing. I tried all the steps available on HP web site.

Have recently aquired a HP Pavillion dv6 1215a notebook which had  been updated from Windows 7 Prof. to Windows 10 Prof. which when I first got it didn`t have the wireless working, subsequently I  managed through altering the directory to achieve this but recently a download I installed has stopped it again, not sure exactly what I downloaded since I made a estore or attempted to do so which has had the original problem re-surface, I tried to remove the keys in the registry but have been unable to find this, so this last download has somehow removed and replaced back to the original the key or keys which originally was the fault. Do you have a way of identifying the problem because your software cannot find my laptop  by its "search" method.  Thanks  Dave

I have an HP Pavillion.  Windows 10.  It came with Windows 8, but I got the free upgrade.  Computer can't find wireless networks.  I get the yellow exclamation mark in my device manager.  I've tried updating.  It says I have the best driver software.   Ethernet works fine.  How can I get this resolved?

Note:  HP Support assistant has issues also.

Hello ,

 

I am having HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j005se notebook, everything was working fine when it was running in windows 8.1. Recently i did a clean installation of windows 10x64 bit. After that my wifi is not connecting to office network , but in my home it is working. Also when i turn on the blue tooth , i looke the wifi connectivity and internet via wifi. Can some one please help me.

I have a MAC desktop using IOS 10.9.5 as well as a HP Office Jet Pro 8600 plus.  I recently had to unplug my computer and printer.  My desktop (as well as my MAC laptop and both i phones) no longer recognize the printer as being on the network.  The printer has no problems connecting to my wireless network.  However, when I go to system preferences and try to add the printer, the network does not see any printer on the network to add.  I have tried restarting printer, router, and computers to no avail.

Operating System :  Windows 10  64-bit version.

Hey,,i bought this Pavilion laptop in last week, and in yesterday i realized that my laptop network speed NEVER go over 5 MB, and my Internet plan is 50MB+, and my others phone devices's internet speed work perfectly fine. So i  did HP troubleshooting and the Window netwrok troubleshooting, the speed still the same....., Can anybody help with this problem??

And i want to maximize the function of the router, the 5 Ghz, because i watched some kind of disassembly video of this type of laptop, so i am wonder can i upgrade my Wireless Adapters, and this laptop can upgrade, can this (Click there) Wireless Adapters fit into this computer??If not, can anybody give me suggestion??

Hi all. I have a Compaq 6915s that I connect to my router using an Ethernet cable. Trouble is, it only seems to pick up WLAN connection once every 20 or 30 times when starting the laptop up. If it doesn't pick up the connection the screen just stays blank. any ideas or tips gratefully received! Many thanks

The wifi signal drops after I walk away from my router more than 10 feet. I can only use the HP laptop in the same room as the router. If I leave the room the signal drops. I don't have that problem with my other laptop Macbook Pro or other wireless devices. It doesn't seem to be  a router problem but a problem with the HP. I have tried the reinstall network adapter driver, update drive software and default BIOS. I have internet with other devices but only problems with this computer for the past month. Please help.
