This morning, the wireless connection between my Pavilion m6 (1035dx) and wireless network box (from my phone company, Century Link) worked fine. In the afternoon, however, I could not get the computer to connect wirelessly but rather only with an Ethernet cable. My wife's PC (Pavilion dv6) still connects wirelessly so I know there is nothing wrong with the wireless network box. My computer can see my neighbors' wireless networks, but it can't see my home network anymore nor connect to it. When I use the HP Support Assistant, it says the following:
Wireless LAN
Not Connected
Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter
I also notice that if I go to the Network and Sharing Center and click on Change Adapter Settings, I see the same message as above and there is a red 'X' on the wireless network connection. I did NOT make any changes to my computer today so why can I no longer connect to my home network wirelessly and what can I do about it?
