I've just installed an HP all in one on a MAC Mini running OS X 10.8.5. All set up and drivers have been installed successfully and both the printer status report and the wireless network test results run directly from the control panel on the printer say that all is working and connected as it should.
When I click the scan option on the "Print & Scan" window from System Preferences, I can operate the scan feature on the printer without problem. However, when I click print on any document, the Deskjet window appears, runs through all of the descriptions (connecting to printer, connected to printer, waiting for job to complete, job completed) and the blue bar moves from left to right as if it had finished the job. The issue is that the printer sits silently without any sign that it ever received the message to print. The computer thinks the job is done and the printer never knew the job came in the first place. What to do?
