Hello all, I am posting this as I have a problem with my Intel Wireless 2230 with Intel's latest driver 16.11. When I update to the e164 version which includes the Intel WiDi software also, I get 5002 and 5005 errors in Event Viewer that the NETwNe64 component is corrupt and that follows with DNS Client errors which causes my connection to be limited. I have tried reformatting and installing, but everytime I switch from the Windows driver, I get this intermittent issue. My laptop is the Envy 17-j070ca and this WiFi card is the only problem I have with this laptop. I have tried many postings about resetting TCP stack and reverting back to the original driver, but if I do that I get no auto-connect at the lockscreen for Windows when I boot up the laptop. The site for my laptop doesn't have a Windows 8.1 driver for the Intel 2230 and I just don't get why a laptop I paid for $1000 has this card which according to lots of forums on the internet, has these issues. I am extremlely computer savy, so any other ideas would be great. Thanks!
