ralink rt5390r lag spikes

Hi all! Yesterday I've changed my modem because it was ko (given to me by my ISP provider); at first glace all was working great, but when I started to play online games, every 4-5 minutes noticed huge lag spikes, above 2 seconds of delay, isolated. After some checks I noticed that the problem is between my wireless card (or my pc?) and the modem (ping command says that spikes exist also when "I ping" modem's address). Lan works great, with no problem, and also other computers work great with wireless connection, only mine has that issue. I tried to update wireless card's drivers, and also all the software, but nothing happens, that spikes remain. My pc is a Notebook HP Pavilion g6-2212sl, with a Ralink RT5390R 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter as wireless device... I don't know what to do, I also tried to delete drivers and reinstall them, but it does not work.

Thanks all for replies and sorry for my english (I'm italian).

 EDIT: I've got Windows 8 64 bit
