Hello,

 

I bought this HP Pavillion 15-n268sa laptop about 2 weeks ago as a referbished laptop. However, since then about once a day the internet will drop and it says "Limited Connection" to my network and is unable to find any other Networks as it usually does. I know it's not a fault with my router as both my old Dell computer and my desktop PC connect to it with no issues.  Reseting the computer will fix the problem for a short period of time but i was hoping for a more perminent solution.

 

Any suggestions?

Hello,

 

I recently downgraded my new Pavilion from Windows 8.1 to Windows 7, and I have some issues with wireless internet. I assume I need the latest driver, which I can't seem to find. Is there anyone that can link me the latest driver for my HP Pavilion 15-p045nd, Windows 7 64 bit.

I just recently purchased the HP Pavilion x360.  Not sure how to get my Blue Tooth mouse to work.  Says Blue Tooth is not anabled.  Can you instruct how to enable this?

Hi,

 

I recently bought a HP 14-d106TX notebook PC. I installed all the drivers from HP website.

 

I cross checked in device manager too, just to confirm that i got all the drivers installed.

 

But I found that, Window is not detecting any of my device when i try to connect via bluetooth.

 

 

Can someone please help me in finding a solution to this.

I already installed Windows 8.1 64-bits on my laptop and the Wifi Card wasn't already installed. I tried to download the Wifi Card driver and I found 3 drivers :

one of the The ms win7 updates that came through lastnite is not compatable with my network adapter. I load the updates and I lose my wireless capability. I system restore and all is fine. I try updates again and lose wireless, restore again and all is well. My network adapter according to HP has the most recent driver. which windows update should I not load?

when i try to connect to internet throw wired connection my connection works prefect , But when i try to connect throw wireless , after couple of minutes , i am stil connected but no net provided , I think it's a onver heat problem , coz the wireless adaptor overheating , is it a problem in the wifi addaptor or in windows / driver def.  !?? ( i am using windows 8.1 ), and if it was a problem in the wifi adaptor , can i complain about this to the hp  as it's a industrail defect !! ( i have ended my warranty ) ......

My laptop was forcing me to update it and when I did it was at 56% now the laptop is on but the screen is blue black and it won't change. It didn't notify me that it was still or done updating please help I'm confused. This is the hp 15 notebook PC 15-g088ca

My laptop will not connect to wifi it has not been connected to before. Like it will connect at home and my friends house, but not at school or hotels where it had not been connected to when it was working.

Also there's a red X through the wifi connection bars in the lower right corner, even when it's connected to wifi

I have an HP Pavalion 11x360 PC 11-n010sn. It was connecting just fine to the wi-fi a few weeks back but now it won't connect its only connects when I use my blackberry. It has a red cross and says no connections are available when there are connections.
Please help!!!!

Hi 

I have HP pavilion dv6 6166TX. I have installed the wireless driver but it is unable to connect to wifi. When i troubleshoot it, it gives  me a message "Wireless capability is turned off". How can this problem be solved.

Hello, I can't seemed to use or find the bluetooth in my laptop. I used it previously but  now i cant seemed to find it. The bluetooth icon also disappeared both in the hidden icons and PC settings. Can you please help me with it?

I own an HP Touch 15t-k100 CTO Windows 8.1 with the Intel AC-3160 Wifi Adapter.  It worked perfectly until two days ago.  Now suddently it will stop working after awhile, anywhere between 1-5 hours.  I have power settings set to Never Sleep when plugged in although the Display will go dark.  According to device manager once the Adapter stops working it lists as being stopped by Windows due to a problem with the device.  Whether I do Scan for Hardware Changes or not eventually the Adapter will disappear from the list and I cannot connect to my home network because the computer thinks I have no Wifi adapter. 

 

I have so far tried uninstalling any programs that I installed within about a 4 day period of the first ocurrence of the problem.  I have also tried a system restore to 9/4.  Additionally, I have tried locating any files I may have downloaded since the onset of the problem and gotten rid of them.  There were only two and I don't think either caused the problems.  None of the above steps worked.  Furthermore I have tried downloading updated drivers for the adapter and using those to no avail.  As a side note Restarting the computer does not fix the issue; however, Shutting Down the computer and doing a cold start DOES fix the problem if only temporarily.  This computer is only 2 months old is the adapter shot already?  Any assistance on how to fix this problem is appreciated.

Last Thursday I was going to turn off my HP Envy Touchsmart 17 laptop and was given the option to "update and shutdown."  I selected that option and left it on overnight, packed it up and headed to work in the morning. 

 

Friday when I turned the computer on at work, it said it was still updating - when it was done, it restarted and my wifi was not working.  I can now connect to the internet as long as I'm hardwired to the modem, but anytime the wi-fi is turned on, the computer screen turns blue, tells me there's an error and restarts itself.  I tried to restore to just before the update, but the restore was unsucessful, so I restored to an earlier date - which was successful, but didn't fix the problem.   Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've only had the computer fo r2 weeks and am extremely frustrated

After the last two suggested updates I have been unable to connect to WIFi.  the suggested solution is that I need a new driver, however, I can't get the drive because I can't connect to wifi...  How do I know which drivers I need so I can install them before the computer updates?
